Level gauges can be used to observe the level of the liquids inside of tanks or vessels.
Level gauges can be classified as the glass type, magnetic float type, tow color type and electrode type level gauges.
This is a type of level gauge that can observe the level of the liquids by inserting the glass or PFA hose in between the gauge valves.
This can be used for the normal tanks as it is vulnerable for the temperature, pressure and shocks.

This is the most common type level gauges out of the glass type ones and has the advantages such as easy to observe width competitive cost.
The areas filled with liquid will be displayed in dark colors as it will absorb the light through the “v” shape groove and thd reas without liquid will be displayed as white silver as it will reflect the light.
This level gauge cannot be used for the strong alkine liquids or steam as they can harm the surface of the glass and can cause the leakage of fluids inside(glass protectying shield cannot be used as it can block the “v” shape groove).

Though this type of gauges have disadvantages such as high cost and heavier weight comparing to the reflex type, glass protecting shield can be used for the strong alkine liquids as well as the interface levels, and this is the gauge that can observe the surface level by using the penetration of light on two of the plane glasses.
